Being fairly active and healthy for most of my 65 years, I thought there was very little I didn’t know about getting back into shape and getting healthy again. Colin proved me wrong. He has a very extensive knowledge of how muscles work, and how to reverse years of body challenges – from arthritis to past injuries, to weight loss, and my personal favorite – increasing balance.
When I began with Colin, I couldn’t balance on one foot, and one knee was nearly twice the size of the other. My back was usually in pain, and I was quite overweight. With his help, and unique training style, I have improved balance, my back almost never hurts, and my knee is nearly back to normal size and has no pain (without any medication). I have dropped 30 lbs and lost many inches and feel much better.
He knows when to push me hard and when to help me recover. I have improved in every area, and I can now keep up with the younger kids and not get winded. If I had had a chance to work with him when I was younger, I would have maintained a better working body without some of these challenges. But even now, I see improvement every week and plan to continue with him.
